Whole30 Day 8 - Lunch

Raw spinach leaves, leftover chicken from yesterday and black olives.

I am having a really hard time today. It is taking everything in me to not run out and buy something bad.

  1. Ugh. I know that wanting to run out the door to buy something awful feeling. Thankfully I live 20 minutes by car from the nearest anything.

    I've also been realizing that I mainly feel that way for a few days AFTER I indulge in something sugary. I also keep reminding myself that the something awful will only be fun or tasty for about 3 minutes, while it is actually in my mouth. Hang in there!

    A tip for your berries/almonds/coconut milk- try freezing the berries. Then the whole thing is almost like an ice-creamy treat and it's awesome. I have it for breakfast when my kids have baked oatmeal for breakfast on Wednesdays :)
